About This Course
Drawing from centuries of traditional East Asian medicine and over 20 years of clinical practice and teaching experience, this course teaches practical acupressure techniques for musculoskeletal pain management. You'll learn effective acupressure point locations and treatment strategies that can be easily integrated into your massage sessions to help address common pain conditions affecting the neck, back, shoulders, hips, and extremities.
Focused on real-world clinical application, this course provides techniques designed to enhance treatment outcomes, expand your therapeutic toolbox, and help clients achieve better pain relief results.
How Our Courses Meet Delaware Renewal Requirements
Delaware massage therapists must complete 24 hours of continuing education every two years, including 3 hours of Ethics, which may be completed online. Delaware also allows 12 additional hours of elective or core continuing education to be completed online. The remaining 9 Core hours must be completed in a classroom, hands-on setting.
The 12-Hour Advanced Acupressure Techniques for Musculoskeletal Paincourse is NCBTMB Approved and satisfies 12 online CE hours toward Delaware's renewal requirements.
Because Delaware requires 9 Core hours to be completed in person, this course does not satisfy the required hands-on training.
Please note that Delaware also requires 3 hours of Ethics and 9 hours of classroom, hands-on Core continuing education, which must be completed separately.
