How the NCBTMB approved courses and packages meets Nevada renewal requirements
Nevada massage therapists must complete 24 hours of continuing education during each renewal period. The Nevada State Board of Massage Therapy accepts continuing education completed through NCBTMB Approved Providers, including online, self-paced courses. For the first renewal, licensees must complete 2 hours of Human Traffickingtraining. For second and subsequent renewals, licensees must complete 2 hours in Ethics, which may include professional ethics, HIPAA, standards of conduct, reporting requirements, or human trafficking.
18-Hour CE Nevada Massage CE Packageis designed to satisfy 18 of Nevada's required 24 continuing education hours and includes:
12 CE Hours – Advanced Acupressure Techniques for Musculoskeletal Pain
4 CE Hours –Medical Ethics Package
2 CE Hours – Human Trafficking Awareness for Healthcare Professionals
The 12-hour Advanced Acupressure course counts toward Nevada's general continuing education requirement. Our Medical Ethics course may be applied toward Nevada's ethics requirement for second and subsequent renewals, while our Human Trafficking Awareness course helps first-time Nevada licensees meet the state's required 2-hour human trafficking training.
All three courses are approved through NCBTMB Approved Provider #1002640 and are accepted by Nevada toward massage therapy license renewal continuing education requirements. Upon successful completion, you'll receive instant completion certificates for your records.
After completing our 18-Hour Nevada Massage CE Package, you'll have completed 18 of the 24 hours required for renewal, leaving only 6 additional CE hours to complete. Whether you're renewing for the first time or are a long-time Nevada massage therapist, this package provides a convenient, high-quality way to complete most of your required continuing education online.
