About This Course
Drawing from centuries of traditional East Asian medicine and over 20 years of clinical practice and teaching experience, this course teaches practical acupressure techniques for musculoskeletal pain management. You'll learn effective acupressure point locations and treatment strategies that can be easily integrated into your massage sessions to help address common pain conditions affecting the neck, back, shoulders, hips, and extremities.
Focused on real-world clinical application, this course provides techniques designed to enhance treatment outcomes, expand your therapeutic toolbox, and help clients achieve better pain relief results.
How Our NCBTMB Approved Courses Meet Pennsylvania Renewal Requirements
Our 12-CE Advanced Acupressure Techniques for Musculoskeletal Pain course is approved through our NCBTMB Approved Provider status and qualifies as Board-approved continuing education in Pennsylvania.
Because Pennsylvania requires at least 16 hours of live contact continuing education, our online courses are designed to complement your required live education, but do not count as live hands-on hours.
We recommend:
The 8-CE Bonus Package ( 4 Hours Ethics + 5 Hours Advanced Acupressure) to complete the maximum online hours allowed while satisfying the Ethics portion of the renewal requirements.
The optional 12-Hour Advanced Acupressure Techniques for Musculoskeletal Pain course for therapists who wish to gain additional clinical skills beyond the hours that may be applied toward their current Tennessee renewal cycle.
Please note that Pennsylvania also requires a 2-hour Board-approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting course and a current CPR certification, both of which must be completed separately.
